AMT’s 1/25-scale 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 model kit is a detailed project for serious builders who want to recreate the iconic late-’60s muscle car. It’s fully paintable and includes an expanded sheet of authentically detailed water-slide decals, making it easy to add period-correct styling and custom flair to the kit.

Built around a retooled body, the kit offers a host of period-accurate details, including clear headlight covers, a custom grille and bumperettes, taillights, an Indy filler cap, concave scoops, racing exhaust, custom front pans, mag wheels and racing headers. Parts are molded in white, clear, and transparent red, with some chrome-plated components and black vinyl tires. The finished model measures about seven inches long and comprises more than 120 parts. Paint and cement are required to complete the build, and a paint guide is included; Testors or Tamiya brands are recommended. Skill level 2; suitable for ages 10 and up, with vintage-styled packaging.
