Description

This 1/48-scale Grumman TBF Avenger plastic model kit is a detailed recreation for World War II aviation enthusiasts. It captures the torpedo bomber’s authentic features, including retractable landing gear, movable bomb bay doors, sliding canopy windows, a retractable tailhook, and movable elevator and ailerons. The kit comes with a torpedo and rockets, three crew figures, and a full set of water-slide decals with multiple US Navy markings, all presented in vintage-style packaging.

At 1/48 scale, the model measures about 10.5 inches in length with a 13.5-inch wingspan and comprises 98 parts molded in white and clear. It carries a Skill Level 2 designation and is suitable for ages 14 and up. To complete the build, hobby paints and cement are required (Testors or Tamiya brands recommended).
