DBI-SALA Nano-Lok Extended Length Self-Retracting Lifeline is ergonomically designed for ease of use and is ideal for direct connection to most harnesses. The extremely compact and lightweight design is virtually unnoticeable on your back, staying out of the worker’s way and making it ideal as a lanyard replacement. Whether your application requires single or twin leg configurations, mounting to an overhead anchor or for connection directly to harness, there are dozens of models to choose from to suit almost any application.

Setup Overview

1. Inspect the housing, lifeline, energy absorber and impact indicator, and both connectors before use.
2. Connect the top connector to the overhead anchorage or anchorage connector and verify the gate closes and locks.
3. Connect the lifeline hook to the harness dorsal D-ring and verify the gate closes and locks.
4. Check retraction: the lifeline should pay out and retract smoothly with constant tension.
5. Verify anchor position and fall clearance per the manual clearance tables before working.

Inspection and Retirement

Inspect before each use, and have a competent person inspect the unit on a documented schedule per the applicable ANSI standard and the 3M manual.
