Solar Racking Drill Bit Extension- No More Solar Yoga

Whether you are installing a rooftop solar array, a large ground mount system, a solar carport, or a commercial ballast mount system, forget the precarious positions or squatting down thousands of times to tighten those mid-clamps. With this Drill Bit Extension you can walk past every mid/end clamp within 72″ reach and tighten them from the standing position. No bending over, squatting down, or climbing a ladder.

Not only does the Extender eliminate the body strain of installing solar systems it also speeds up the process by eliminating the time bending over or maneuvering into the perfect position to tighten down mid and end clamps. With this tool you just walk by and tighten them down.

Safer installations aren’t only about the installer’s work atmosphere, it is also about the longevity of the solar installation. The Drill Bit Extension does have torque reducing functions, which means it will reduce the torque value of the attached power drill to help reduce the possibility of overtightening.

• Interchangeable Bit Adapter: No matter the type of racking, the Extender is ready to get work done. It has an interchangeable 3/8 square drive quick-connect to allow the use of any socket attachment or nut driver for any size necessary for the job

• Adjustable Gear Head: Built with five different adjustment settings allowing for easy reach no matter the angle of the clamp you need to tighten

• Collapsible Body: This tool’s driveline technology will work at both 40″ or 60″, allowing flexibility to adjust its length to the job’s need

• Adjustable Handle: The adjustable handle provides an ergonomic, customized hold for each user and job style. It can move along the tool shaft and also pivot from 90° to 0° providing adaptability for both ground mount and roof mount applications

• Torque Reducing: Though not torque limited to a specific foot pound, the mechanics within this tool do provide torque reducing functions, which does drastically reduce the torque value of your attached power drill
