Description

An HO-scale 40-foot US Army single-dome tank car, designed to depict a riveted tank design used to carry liquids in the late 1920s through the early 1940s. These cars were among the last riveted designs before welding became standard and could be found in private service as well as maintenance-of-way roles that provided water for track work on major railroads.

Model details include a prototypical riveted body with a single dome, blackened metal wheels, body-mounted E-Z Mate couplers, separately applied ladders, and metal wrap-around grab irons, delivering a realistic, period-accurate addition to a military- or maintenance-era HO-scale roster.
