The 417 is the set-and-forget concrete anchor: a drop-forged alloy steel D-bolt that installs through up to 4 inches of concrete and stays as a permanent, 5,000 lb rated tie-off point wherever recurring work needs one.

Inspection and Retirement

Inspect before each use and have a competent person inspect at least annually per ANSI Z359.2.

  • Webbing or body: cuts, frays, corrosion, cracks, distortion, or damage.
  • D-rings and hooks: no cracks, corrosion, distortion; gates lock where fitted.
  • Stitching and fasteners: intact and tight.
  • Labels: present and legible.

Retirement triggers: any fall arrest loading, any defect found during inspection, or failure to verify fitness for service.
