Who Needs This Product
The MightyLite+ covers the vertical jobs shorter SRLs cannot: towers, shafts, silos, and high bays where the worker travels far below a fixed overhead anchor. It is light enough to carry to the mount point and engineered to live there permanently, with labeling that still reads after years of sun.
Features
Long-Reach Lengths
Stocked at 20, 30, and 130 ft, with the 130 ft unit covering full-height tower and shaft work from one anchor.
Quick-Activating Inertia Brakes
The brakes engage in inches, limiting free fall to under 2 ft anywhere in the travel.
Lightweight Corrosion-Proof Housing
Aluminum and stainless construction keeps a big unit carryable and durable outdoors.
UV-Resistant Labeling
Scratch-resistant, fade-resistant graphics keep capacity and inspection data legible for years.
Permanent or Portable
Easy to carry and install overhead for the day, or mount permanently at a recurring access point.
Galvanized Steel Cable
The cable takes the abrasion of long vertical runs against structure.

⚠
Long cable, long swing. The farther the worker moves from vertical under the anchor, the bigger the swing fall. Keep travel inside the working cone in the manual and check the load-indicating hook before every use.
Compliance Standards
ANSI Z359.14
Certified as a self-retracting lifeline for overhead anchorage applications.
OSHA 1926.502 and 1910.140
Meets OSHA connecting device requirements for personal fall arrest systems, rated to 420 lb per OSHA.
Load-Indicating Hook
The swivel snap hook carries a built-in load indicator that flags an arrested unit at a glance.
Inertia Brake Design
Quick-activating brakes limit free fall to under 2 ft at any point in the travel.
Typical Applications
Tower, shaft, and silo access with a single high anchor.High-bay maintenance and crane rail work.Wind and telecom structures.Construction elevator and hoistway protection.Permanent overhead anchor stations at recurring access points.Utilities and manufacturing at extended heights.
Setup Overview
- Inspect the housing, cable, load indicator, and connectors before use.
- Mount the unit to an overhead anchorage rated for fall arrest using the top swivel connector.
- Connect the lifeline snap hook to the harness dorsal D-ring and verify the gate locks.
- Check retraction and brake lock-up with a sharp pull before committing to the system.
- Verify fall clearance below the work level and keep the lifeline clear of edges not rated for contact.
Full use instructions and clearance tables ship with the unit.
Inspection and Retirement

Frequently Asked Questions
When do I need a 130 ft SRL?When the worker travels far below one fixed anchor: full-height tower climbs, shafts, silos, and high bays. One long unit at the top replaces re-anchoring on the way down. How fast do the brakes engage? The quick-activating inertia brakes limit free fall to under 2 ft anywhere in the cable travel, keeping arrest distance and force low.Is the housing weatherproof? The aluminum and stainless construction with UV-resistant labeling is built for permanent outdoor mounting.Which length should I pick?Choose the shortest length that covers the vertical travel from the anchor; 20, 30, and 130 ft ship from stock. What is the capacity?420 lb per OSHA including the worker, clothing, and tools. Under ANSI-based programs, follow the capacity on the device label.Does this unit need annual factory recertification? No. Factory recertification is not required on this series; keep the unit in service with pre-use checks and documented competent person inspections per the manual. How often does it need inspection?Inspect before each use: housing, full cable payout, load indicator, retraction, brake lock-up, and connectors. A competent person inspects it on a documented schedule per ANSI Z359.14 and the manual.
