The TurboLite+ Edge is the Class 2 member of the PLUS family: a galvanized steel cable lifeline with an integral energy absorber, rated for foot-level tie-off and arrest over a leading edge, where a webbing device is out of its depth. The aluminum one-pin connector mounts the unit flat on the dorsal D-ring.
Certified to ANSI Z359.14-2021 Class 2, CSA SRL-LE listed in the 6 ft length, and rated to 420 lb per OSHA. This MTL-LEP1-61 configuration carries a steel locking snap hook on the lifeline end.

Foot-level tie-off demands more clearance. Class 2 arrest from a foot-level anchor produces longer free fall and deeper deceleration than overhead tie-off. Run the clearance numbers for the foot-level case before the first connection, and check the load indicator before every use.
