As we all know, fall protection is a must when negotiating a roof while installing solar, but it comes with its headaches. It never fails that the rope gets caught up in the racking or hung up around the solar panels. And we haven’t even covered the challenge of safely getting on the roof in the first place to connect your roof anchors to tie into. 

With The RidgePro^TM, an Adjustable Roofing Anchor, and a “First-Man-Up/Last-Man-Down” System, you can easily set your roof anchor without leaving the ladder. It is also easily moved along the ridgeline to allow better placement near the area you are working. Basically, it takes the pain out of fall protection.

The RidgePro^TM Plus includes both the adjustable roof anchor and an 8-foot extension pole to assist with getting your anchor to the ridgeline with ease. The pole extends and locks at increments up to 16 feet, and features a quick-release button.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

The RidgePro^TM has cross members in the front and back that straddle the peak of the roof. Each cross member has two pre-drilled holes that receive 5/16″ x 1 1/2″ lag bolts (sold separately) that attach the RidgePro^TM to the structure. When you are finished with the job, remove the bolts and fill the holes with a weatherproof roofing sealant (sold separately).

ORDERING OPTIONS DEFINED

We have provided 3 ordering options to meet your specific needs.

1 Roof Anchor (no pole or threaded adapter)

If you do not feel you will need an extension pole, or perhaps you already own another  RidgePro^TM  and do not have the need for a second extension pole, this would be the option for you. Please note, this unit requires a very specific threaded adapter for an extension pole to work, so do not choose this option if you plan at any point to use a pole and do not have the required adapter. 

2 With Threaded Pole Adapter (for use with existing extension pole) 

Already have an extension pole you can use with this unit? No problem, select this option as it comes with the special threaded adapter that will allow you to make use of your pole. 

3 With 8′-16′ Extension Pole (pole designed specifically for this device)

This option will come with an extension pole and the specialized adapter needed already mounted to the end. (*Please note the extension pole is shipped seperate from the RidgePro^TM  unit and you may experience a delivery gap between the two items arrival). 

4 8′-16′ Extension Pole ONLY (pole designed specifically for this device)

This is item is for the pole only.  If you already have the RidgePro^TM  but need to replace or add the pole, this is the item for you. This pole has a specific thread pattern designed to fit the RidgePro^TM
