WHY YOU NEED IT

• Squirrels love to chew because their teeth never stop growing. The space beneath a solar panel is not only a wonderful invitation for shelter it provides the added benefit of lots of wire to enjoy. Damaged wire will harm your system and can create a fire hazard.
• Birds are constantly looking for shelter and protection from predators, and you guessed it, beneath solar panels is the perfect nest building environment. The bird droppings alone can erode building material, compounded by the materials they collect to build their masterpiece of a nest. 
• Lastly, if critters don’t love your array, leaves certainly will. Debris buildup holds moisture, accelerates roof rot, and can damage module backsheets. Or worse, dried debris could become fuel for a potential fire under the array.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Includes: Each case includes 25 pieces (each 48″ long) giving you 100 feet of barrier. And the required acetone prep wipes.
• Adhesive: 3M VHB tape is pressure-activated and requires a minimum 15lbs PSI for the adhesive to “wet out” and achieve the strongest bond. A laminate roller aka “J-Roller” is recommended to ensure adequate adhesive activation spread over the module frame (especially if working in colder weather).
• Storage: Store this product in a climate controlled area between 45°F to 100°F (7°C to 38°C) and 0-95% relative humidity. 
• Ideal Temp for Installation: Is a range of 70° – 100°F / 21° – 38°C.

  NOTE:The lowest recommended temperature for application is 40°F / 4°C.Attempts to install below this temperature may result in unsatisfactory adhesion.  If planning to install in temps between 40°-50°F (4.4°- 10°C), it is best used when stored at room temperature before application.
